I was in a similar situation except I went from a Toyota Camry to a Tahoe so I could fit everyone in. My wife hates mini vans so an SUV it was. She drives a Mercury Mountaineer so I get the Hoe pretty much all to myself most of the time.

Sorry you had to sacrifice the hoe but thats how it goes when you have a family. Hope the pregnancy goes well and hope everything comes out alright...lol (pun intended)

Let's start a minivan forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I gave in on one about 7 years ago. They're not that bad once you get past the "don't have your balls anymore" image. The best thing is you don't have to worry about the kids throwing the doors into the car parked next to you.

I'll definitely give you credit for thinking about the family. That is something that just does not happen much these days. You must have loss a bunch of money on the Camaro since they have tons of them on the lots these days.

Dude congrats on the family thing. You did the right thing. I gave up my 87 Cutlass years ago. I ended up driving 2 different Astro vans for over 10 years. Kids are now old enough so it was time for me to dump the Astro and jump back into the world of V8 power. I love my burb. One day you will get your toys back. Family always comes first. :Handshake:

SW CT,
Wow..oh so happy that my wife would never be caught driving a minivan...I am sure once they get a little bit older you'll be back in a tahoe, etc.

Mine is the same. She only likes SUVs, first Trailblazer EXT, then Envoy Denali now Yukon XL Denali. She hates driving in snow and we got 7 inches of it the other night so the Denali was great.

Kids are the reason we bought our 2007 Tahoe. I had 2000 Silverado Extended cab and my wife talked me into trading it in when our second kid was on the way. Now we have 3 kids and no 3rd row. All 3 car seats fit nicely in the back seat.

I asked her if she wanted a mini van and she said that we would have to buy a new Tahoe with a 3rd row before we got a van!! God, I love her!
