I need a pick up and looking to sell my 97' Tahoe. Tons of new parts on her runs very good just needs an o2 sensor which will go in this weekend.

Its a 97' with 184,000 on it. Good tires, clean, my 04's underside isn't as clean as this truck. I bought it off my neighbor, it was his wifes and literally just drove it back and forth to work. She never even put it in 4wd, she didn't even know it had 4wd!!!?? They bought it off the lot and maintained it very well.

Exhaust all together is only a year old, I put a Y-pipe(with the cats) in it about two weeks ago. Alternator, A/C lines, breaks, rotors, complete tune up(except for air filter, I will put one in this weekend. GM fuel pump, sending unit, and updated sending unit wiring, fuel filter, TPS, cap, rotor, plugs, wires. It has a remote start with the door locks in it too.

The only thing I can say that doesn't work in it is the door light switch on the drivers side, every truck, suburban or tahoe I have ever owned in this body style has quit working.

I'm going to put it on Craigslist or trade it in and wanted to see what you guys think its worth.

i paid $5200 for mine bone stock with a little less milage about three years ago, and two doors are getting harder and harder to find. honestly i would start at the 5K mark. can always go down but its hard to raise the price.

I see the 2D Tahoe's with similar mileage going for $5,000 all day long and there seems to be alot of buyers that are interested. The 1997 Hoe has the older body with the newer looking interior which makes them even more sought after, couple that with being a 2D, and your good 2 go.

Smoking Deal price, I'd say $3,500

Average price, I'd say $5,000

On the high end, I'd say $6,500

I have quite a few 2D's for sale around my area right now:

1995 2D 4WD (beater) with high mileage $3,500 (private party)
1998 2D 4WD(Clean) with 80K miles for $7,900 (dealer)
1997 2D 4WD (Clean) with 120K and a 6 inch lift, nice rimes, and mud tires for $5,900 (private party)
1997 4D 4WD (Very Clean) with 90K and a 9 inch lift, weld rims, and mud tires (Mint condition) with a for sale sign and no price listed a a block away from me. (Guys you should see this thing, it was a daily driver that could pass for a show car, adult owned and NOT beat on)

There seems to be a large amount of 2D's around me for sale which is rare and usually is not the case. All of them seem to be selling no matter what the condition.

For what it's worth I'd give 4500 if I was in the market mostly due to the mileage...

I'd say I'm a few post short to post it in the classifieds. :emotions122:
