Greetings fellow Yukon and 'Urban owners alike!!
I bought my 2002 Yukon XL, with 76,000 miles, in Oct 2010 for a 2,600-mile journey from eastern coast of Virginia to SW Idaho. I towed my 2003 Mazda MPV minivan with 6,000 lbs of cargo inside of it, 5 passengers, and carry-on type luggage. I did long trips with it, to include a trip to San Diego, CA. Roll the clock forward to Oct 2020 and 243,000 miles later. I LOVE MY YUKON XL SLT!!!! Still running strong!!! Front seats are starting to show wear and tear. Changed oil approximately every 7000 miles with full synthetic oil. On its second set (of 4) tires, using LT-rated 265/65R16 tires. So far, the only major parts I changed on it were the starter, alternator, and the ABS ECM (the most expensive part to-date)!!! Although I do not have any transmission or differential problems, I haven't changed the transmission fluid nor the differential oil since owning it. Toying with the notation of changing these fluids. Should it or should i not? I am 50-50. ANy thoughts???
