I own a 2015 Yukon Denali XL. Love the truck. I got a service parking assist message after starting it after coming out of a store. Got out and saw someone had backed into the front bumper cracking the black plastic and busting one of the circular sensors. Looked underneath and the wire was cut as well. Ordered a set of 4 from Amazon (apparently the front and rear sensors are the same). Worked on it today. Got the front bumper cover off switched out all 4 sensors and repaired the wire on the one sensor. While I had the bumper cover off, I added a louder horn sincevI could access the wires. Put it all together and went to start it. Nothing. First step back. Saw some message about turning the steering wheel (was pinned to the left) after trying a few times it finally released and was able the start the truck. Saw the parking assist light off and pushed it. Didn't turn on, just flashed. Second step back. Decided to take it for a ride to test but found it would not come out of park . Third step back. Ran a scan and it came back as all 4 sensors wrong. I assume this is not as easy as a calibration right? As far as not coming out of park, it's apparently locked out for some reason. Brake lights work. Battery new. Could it be because of the new horn? I'm defeated right now and will look at it tomorrow. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Pics of the truck, please.

Wow! That's a new one. I replaced one sensor, and it was simply plug and play.

Perhaps connected to the truck's OEM security system? You could disconnect the new horn and see if your issue resolves.

@Doubeleive may be able to add some perspective to your issue.

this has come up before and unless I am wrong I believe the BCM may need to be reprogrammed
I could be wrong though
did you disconnect the battery while working on it?
also only the 1 parking sensor needed replacing, doing all 4 was overkill
I don't think the parking sensors or horn are related to your current issue at all. you could unplug the parking sensor harness just to see if it makes any difference.
