onstar question

Is there a way to disable onstar on my 03 Tahoe? (fuse, wiring, etc.) It keeps coming on at random, muting my stereo, and I have no use for it. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried unplugging the onstar all together to see if that solves the problem?

Module is behind the glovebox

So I finally had a chance to look behind the glove box and when I did all I saw was a bunch of plastic. I have a photo of what I saw so can anyone direct me to which module would be for onstar?
