Please don't get me wrong, not every cop is out to get you, but they're out there, so just be mindful.

I have been tinted and I found out from EPD (eureka police department) captin when stopped in the impala he asked please roll all the windows down so he could see inside. Told me it makes the stop less intense and they respond different. So I have gotten in to the habit of when over I'm stopped I always roll the windows down. Not like im stopped All the time but when I am. Oh and I never give them attitude. Because if they want they could hit me with every modifications made . buddy of mine was stopped for racing around and was a total ass hole to the cop so they popped his hood and every after market part was tagged and his Shit was towed. Other guy was cool and respectful and they ended up talking about cars and the kinda car the cop had. I see it as They deal with ass holes all day and if one person shows respect and not an entitled jerk they are more likely to let you go.

Exactly! I used to be in law enforcement and if I qot stopped, I did exactly what you just stated. Once I was stopped on rte 80 at midnight. I put my interior lights on, and as he was walking up I happened to look down at my passenger seat and my Glock was sitting on the seat. It was a 40 model 22 so it was pretty big. I wasn't in uniform either. Could've been a bad situation, but he was a Sgt--he had some time in--I showed him my credentials, he laughed, and I was outta there. Just be respectful and not an ass. Works 99% of the time--but that 1%....lol

Aight Rocket Man! I got them new pics up. The passenger and driver window are half way down and Sun roof is open. It looks darker than it is. Tint guy told me it will look darker because of the back windows and Sun roof being so dark.

i could never do a full windshield here in NJ, how would they scrape off the inspection sticker? lol not to mention, its hard enough to see out the windows at night in the rain with 35 up front and 20% around the back. NJ law say you can pretty much paint the back windows if you like, front windows/doors are to remain factory, not even a brow is allowed. by the written law.

know a guy who drove up to NJ from NC, 5% tint, only the rear plate, as thats how it is in his state. hes on the tpk not speeding, but comes up on a trooper, cop must have seen no plate in his rear view, slowed to get behind him, must have seen the tint by then, lit him up pulled him to the shoulder, he was almost at a full stop and the trooper turned off his lights pulled off and left lmao! must have noticed the out of state plates and just let it all go.

i got a tint ticket in my regal here in my own town, not a fix it ticket, here ya go, pay this ticket. i still have the tint. being i pass state inspection year after year, i cant see them handing out tint tickets at all, seem like a bad game to me. its either ok or its not? if i passed inspection, all should be cool in my eyes.

Nothing else matters-broken windshield, no lights, no brakes--limo tinted windows--nothing. I had a guy once, no brakes, was actually metal on metal. He passed. No check engine light. We were taught in training that motor vehicle laws--for inspections--isn't state law. So you can pass and have a valid sticker but still get a ticket for improper or broken equipment. Makes no sense. That might change with the new Gov. if he gets an itch.

i know another guy who drove two states for parts, got pulled over, tinted tail lights, tint, and didnt have one or more doc's with him. ended costing a lot more for them mods. then he was like blaming the seller.... how that works out idk but wtf guy, he would have shipped the stuff ya know lol

shipping fees tend to be less than gas or your travel time.

funny you say that about inspection too. its been that way for some time now.

only the commercial light duty trucks get a real inspection at this point. like they lift the front end off the ground and actually check the front end for play. pretty sure they dont have a damn clue wtf they are feeling for, the 05 dump passes every year and its needed a pitman and idler for as long. the check engine light its on, (standard evap BS ) so i clear codes and it passes, how i do not know cause i know all systems are not ready, and they do a sniffer on it. might be why it passes?

oddly enough i just took the 2015 crewcab dump for inspection, passed, i did the walk around to make sure all the lights worked, but missed the three marker lights middle of the rear, one light was out, as i walked past it at inspection, im crap here we go, wasted time..... i also noticed one back up light was out when i was backing the boss up to the trailer same day lol

when i first got my regal, i passed with a airbag and abs light on, a smashed side view mirror and 4 bald tires. back in the 80's you'd been sent to the end of the line for your fail sticker.

if you ever waited for systems to be ready, it can take some time. i got a tuner for the regal, so when i went to inspection they failed me for all systems not being ready yet aka my o2 sensor, (everything else is deleted already) so i went home, deleted the up stream o2, went back, passed, drove back home un deleted, alls well. the fact i live a mile from the inspection station has its perks.

Since my 05 Express van is over 7,000 lbs and non commercial, it doesn't need inspection. I was happy as hell. I keep getting the p0300 code.

how does one get over on inspection like that? cant expect the cops to know that when you roll by with a no sticker and a 300 dollar fine they love to write.

i remember when commercial trucks were self inspection.
