you need a 14bsf out of a mid 90s 2500 light duty or 1500HD heavy half I beleive....a 4x4 also since the 2wd has a more narrow rear. The swap is simple you need a conversion U joint and different U bolts and may need a proportioning valve for the rear brakes since the drums will be larger


i was under the influence that one out of any (88-99) OBS 2500 4x4 would swap in?

6 lug of course, guess is should have been more specific. did the 88-94's have a different width or something?

A little update, found a local shop I am going to see that does differential work. Going to see them this weekend. Lately their main line of business is moster truck chassis. Should be a cool place to go see. I really need to get moving on this.

nice, should pick up a good body and have them build you a frame for it. have a monster truck tahoe/suburban

I wish! I just ordered the Power slot rotors and hawk pads a few minutes ago. I need to do teh steering speed sensor and a blower motor too but it is so cold outside and we are geting an ice storm tonight, tuesday, then again thursday I think. I hate this time of year for working on truck

i thought i read somewhere that the steering sensor was in 98 and up trucks. Is that correct or would my 96 have one?
