... maybe someone with 22x9 rims and 305/35/22 tires with an nnbs hoe/yuk can chime in about rubbing issues :Handshake:

lol Felix, you're confusering me. :)

305/35/22s won't rub as there's less sidewall ... you mean someone with 305/45/22s can let us know right?

Ahh that was a typo on my part. I meant to put the 305/45/22 right there sorry for the confusion! I edited the post to avoid further confusion.

My 420 in the rain were great. Not to mention i have 4 people, Gear and towing a trailer with 2 hayabusa in it. I went with 285 because the wider you go, the more the tire wants to follow Grooves and ruts. They can also be a bit louder. I know my set gonna last me a long time as when winter comes, ill swap over to the winter rims.

So you have the 285/45/22?

Anyone with 305 Nitto 420's, what side wall height did you guys go with?

30's hahah.. I Know mine don't count

ha! that 30 sidewall would kill me! the 35 sidewall on my 24" slide's were already thin enough!

I guess I shoulda mentioned.. for those with 305's AND 22" rims :Handshake:

I'll take the risk of running the 305's. I like the wider stance of the 305's when looking at it from the back.. looks "meaner".

Bump to see if anyone is running 305/40/22 or 305/45/22 on their nnbs at stock height and if they have any tire rub issues.

LOL- i've been on the grind trying to find more info on this exact thing before I pull the trigger on these Nitto NT 420S tires.. I found a set shipped for 720 of the 305/40/22 and will buy those but i'd love the extra sidewall height if I can fit the 305/45/22...

Yup, and I keep looking at my wheel wells, scratching my head, with a mongoloid stare, trying to figure out what will fit. :(

Just looking at it, I got so little room left at full lock between the edge of the tire and the inside trim, that I can't see the 45s being able to work. Now I'm even worried about the 40s, cause even though they have a smaller circumference than the stock spec tires we are running now, they are so much wider that they might rub.

Oh won't someone think of the children and help us? :)
