I am looking forward to getting this deal done. The nice lady is excited about getting her new vehicle and is happy to sell the Tahoe so quickly and the guy that wants the AV says it is just what he was looking for. He is trying to get rid of a 2001 Yukon XL Suburban because it gets only 8-9 MPG because it has the 8.1 engine.

If his Yukon XL has the 8.1L. It means it is a 2500. 3/4 Ton ! They are beast. I'd. Rather have the 2500 with the 6.0L though.

Also. Good luck.

Another update. Listed my AV on CL and the first guy that saw it today said he would give me my asking price of $8k. The credit union said we could have the title mailed here within 5 business days after pay off. The guy is willing to wait. He is a local fireman and we know a chief together and we know we can trust each other. I called the lady with the 02 Tahoe and she agreed on $5500 for hers and is willing to wait for my transaction to go through. It looks like it is a go to get the Tahoe. :)

Sweet, sounds like all is working out nicely.

It should all go down within the next 5-10 days depending on the title release at the credit union and the lady getting her new rig but it does look like a go. I may be without wheels for a day or 2 but living at the storage facility and bank a block away makes that doable. I have the AV for Super Bowl trip to buddies house tomorrow and the stay overnight and have stocked up with groceries for at least a month so I am ready for this. She said she was getting all the repair and maintenance records together for me.
1 owner since new and all work done at the dealer.

Thanks to all. After pretty much giving up hope and thinking I was going to have to pay off the AV and then sell it and start my look all over again, this just fell in my lap. The lady said since I took care of her things at the storage facility for so long she wants this to happen for me. Yes, I will post some pics after I get it and then start the process of what to update/change starting with a new set of tires.

Another update. The AV was paid for this morning and is coming to pick up the rig this afternoon and I take possession of the Tahoe on Friday. I live where I work so no problem there and groceries are stocked up and I can walk to bank or if raining can take the facility golf cart. I still say I am going to buy a lottery ticket, probably today!
