My daughter has an 04 Tahoe. The headliner is coming down and I told her I would replace it for her birthday. Wanted to find out what the color is called. I haven't owned Chevys in the past, I have old Mercury Cougars, and they have a sticker on the driver's door that list the VIN, and codes for the body style, engine, trans, rear end, and color and trim options. On the Tahoe the door sticker only has info on tires and loads. Is there a sticker on the Tahoe that has codes for color and trim options? If so where is it? I tried searching for trim codes, option sticker and such in this and the interior forums with no results. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Tony, do you want a pic of the headliner or the sticker? The Tahoe is dark green, seats are medium to dark gray cloth (still in great shape), and the headliner is light tan. At first I was thinking just do the headliner in gray, to match the seats and be less reflective. But I remember there are a lot of things that come through the headliner, A/C vents and plastic push pin supports, and they are color matching. So I'm thinking I will need the upholstery guy to match it. I will get pix as soon as she gets back from Home Depot, though I hope they are easier to post here than they are on the Cougar board. Or at least I will post whatever info is on that sticker.

Can you post a pic of your seats. Interesting--I've never seen a headliner that's a different color then the seats.

You can get the interior color code off the RPO sticker inside the glovebox door, it’s the second from the last RPO code in most cases. Mine is 92I interior Medium Dark Pewter, Very Dark Pewter, and the last code is the seat color 923 Leather Neutral Pewter. However if you go to Stock Interiors you can look at the colors and then order samples of them to see what matches closest.
