An American Legion member just came by with her 2005 LS. She wants all the parts that I have taken off that will fit her rig. Turns out she has hydro-boost instead of the suspected vacuum boost brakes. She bought and took all I had and wants the throttle body, injectors, steering gear box and steering shaft and the throttle position sensor/pedal assembly too, that is the next step in my journey. We struck a deal for $420 for everything, plus the $80 core charge on the steering gear box. All gone and she will pick up the difference when I am done with next round.

I'm glad someone bought it who needs it. Hopefully it'll be a nice improvement for her.

Her 05 is in great shape and has close to 190k miles. She is the one that has a 1965 Mustang convertible with the factory luggage rack bolted on top of the trunk. She takes care of her stuff. She also goes to the same shop my friends own. They are the ones that told me/reminded me to contact her to buy this stuff for her rig when they work on it. They know the condition of all the parts taken off. She did score.

Ok, been working at night since the weekend. Finished up the new steering gear and steering shaft. New a/c and heater control head. New fuel injectors and new throttle body with a new pigtail. Also did the whole pedal assembly just for the throttle pedal pressure sensor. I also found a mud and grit caked rear a/c and heater hose connection under the right rear and cleaned it all off and found all connections in great shape.

Just curious--selling the old injectors? Again, just curious.
