Just curious--selling the old injectors? Again, just curious.
Sorry, I already have everything sold to the same buyer that I sold all the other parts to. She is coming tomorrow for all this stuff. Going to get $10 for each injector.

She has a 2005 Tahoe LS that everything I am replacing, even the hydro-boost, is on her rig. The only thing I have left over that is not the same, is the master cylinder, with active brake control, and that is listed at my local CL for $20.

Other than replacing the entire a/c system, I am out of possibilities for anything else at this time.

What did the pedal assembly along with that sensor cost you? Link? I got another reduced engine power yesterday.

An American Legion member just came by with her 2005 LS. She wants all the parts that I have taken off that will fit her rig. Turns out she has hydro-boost instead of the suspected vacuum boost brakes. She bought and took all I had and wants the throttle body, injectors, steering gear box and steering shaft and the throttle position sensor/pedal assembly too, that is the next step in my journey. We struck a deal for $420 for everything, plus the $80 core charge on the steering gear box. All gone and she will pick up the difference when I am done with next round.
One man’s trash…

I would prefer to be the lottery winner who gets the truck when you’re done!

Since I am moving back to Mo., I am going to keep the truck. I have close to $12k parts in it, thankfully bought at RA and Amazon to help save that money. All this work that my friends are allowing me to do after hours and help with, at their shop, has saved me approximately $10k in labor. When I get to Mo., except for regular maintenance and anything major like an engine or trans of diff, I should be able to drive worry free for several years, depending on how long I live. I am at 136k miles on the rig. If I get 136k more, I will be old enough that maybe I should not be driving.

Thinking about some new tires and considering the Cooper Discoverer ATP II. Thoughts from anyone?
