I'm not really a tinted-window guy, my 62 yo eyes dont see as clear as they used to and I like to be able to see out the window. I live in the boonies with almost no ambient light, unless coming from moon or stars

I want to deal with getting this amazon security shade returned and a refund before ordering another, just to make sure I dont have to "eat it" :lol2:

Everyone: No pics yet…next time I am out in the daylight I will try to get a couple.

+ 2 on the extra tint layer for lift gate and cargo area side window. Especially side.

I did 70% on a UV Protection film for windscreen.

30% on all Passenger door windows….(TX Legal is 25% for first row side windows. No restrictions behind. I wen 30 because tint vendor only had 30 and 20 films.

20% cargo area side windows and liftgate. I wanted all side windows to be uniform. Be careful of the lift gate film percentag. I wanted to keep prying eyes from looking in but also need to make sure I can see out…..especially at night.

5% for “Eyebrow” area if the upper top windshield. 5% ( “Limo” )for moonroof to match the eyebrow.

I would prefer zero window tinting if the glass itself wasn’t tinted. I drive quite a bit at night here in the boonies on back dirt roads surrounded by trees and pastures, I like to see best as my older eyes can. I like to observe and sight-see and don’t listen to radio

Fairly simple layout. The spring clips fit into the L shaped box just forward of the 3rd row USB-C charging ports.. The cover itself is just simple spring tension clips on each end.

This photo is to show the cover is unusable when 3rd row seat is extended. For those with frequent third row extended probably not worth it. For my situation the 3rd row would be folded probably 99% of the time.

With that said for small items and limited use. The third row can be extended to prevent small items from rolling around. I have a collapsible cargo storage box for while 3rd row is extended.

Purchase note…….Order from GM accessories site to use the GM rewards points and get credit. The best option is order from site, but choose the pickup at dealer Option. Should be no shipping charges and local deasler will call you when it arrives. Any dealer that actually has the nerve to charge you for install beat them over the head with the cover……..Keep it inside the box so it doesn’t leave marks.

Biggest installation note is to protect the trim while aligning the cover. A towel wrapped around the edges should do the trick.

I didnt take the photo but the locking tabs are on the lift gate trim panel. I just below the glass line.

There are 2 sets of those L-shaped spots for the clips. One set for when 3rd row is folded down, one set further to the rear for when the seats are upright/in use. At least that’s how the XL version is set up.

How is the gap too narrow, what do you mean by that? The vinyl shade rubs the plastic interior walls?

I could see the extra slot for the ESV/Suburban/YXL but hadn’t thought of that. I wouldn’t necessarily mind a Suburban but as said many times…..it would go in the garage as a ESV/Suburban/YXL….it would come out as a E/T/Y……garage length……using the popular word these days….Constraints…
