OFFTOPIC: Your a HAM? As is myself and my wife. I'm VE3TEE, and my wife is VE3NEG. I'm running a 2m Icom2100H and a 10/11M RCI2950 w/250w amp in my Yukon. I'm always interested in what other guys are running. So, yours is gonna be interesting if your going 120v rigs. What are your plans? 73's.



ONTOPIC: There was some good advice given here. That Microwave would require a bigger than normal mobile inverter, which would require bigger wires and fuses, and I would run the 12v and inverter to the rear, as close as possible to the 120v load. Also, disconnect the inverter when not in use so that during Daily Driving there is ZERO chance of 120v hitting the truck.
