If i drive 15 miles to work or back from work and allow the vehicle to sit for a period of time. I will not get the knock codes. If i drive up to a local store and shut the motor off for 30 min or so , i will get the Knock codes on my way home. No other codes have appeared since i did the work below.

This issue started after I did some maintenance on the upper part of the motor. I was getting Lean Codes P0171 and P0174 frequently. I removed the upper intake manifold and replaced all of the "regular parts" and gaskets with OE brand. The knock sensor wells were full of water, replaced the sensors and the wiring harness. Replaced the Valve cover gasket, manifold gaskets , Spark plugs , Wires and coils. As well as all of the vacuum lines. Cleaned the throttle body and replaced air filter.

The tahoe fires right up , idles strong. It does give the "low oil pressure" alarm occasionally in the winter months at warm up. At times it does feel as there is a slight restriction when hard accelerating. Tahoe has original cats and muffler system. Could that be an issue? If I clear the codes while out driving they will not re-appear for the rest of the drive.

Looking for any advice or opinions. Feel free to ask me any questions. I use a Bluedriver scanner tool

As something to rule out I would suggest checking the engine and transmission mounts for play. The driver's side mount is the one that takes the most abuse. If the engine block moves around a lot that can cause what the sensors think is knock.
