So, I got the dreaded p0420 code today on my 2005 Yukon Denali with 145k. Since I replaced my o2 sensors last time this happened a year or so back, I'm betting it's actually the cat converters this time.

My question is has anyone had any experience with the magnaflow, walker, bosal, or any of the other catalytic converters out there? It's tempting to try one of the other brands and see if I can get another 150k, but I'd like to see if y'all have had any experiences good or bad to help me decide.

Thanks in advance

I've had several cars and trucks with magnaflow cats can't recall any part #'s but I have used them and they were great lasted a through my ownership of the vehicles last one was 4yr running when i sold it.....
Walker looks to be an OEM spec manufacturer from what I've seen of their's.
I am looking at getting some no name Spun cats off amazon and see how they work when I switch to long tubes, or I might just keep my factory cat and save the $

hope this helps some.

I went with Walker hi-flows and they opened up the exhaust a bit. Only been on for 12,000 miles so I'm not sure how long they'll last. I noticed a bit of power increase; I'm happy with them.

Do any of you happen to have a part number/model number that you installed for any of the above cats? 'm in the market currently and need a direct fit.
