Got the left bank done today.

Little things for the roof rack on too.

The transmission fluid plug is a huge piece of crap... going to weld a nut on it and try it that way.

Never able to get mine out on the 01. I had the pan down and heated it and nothing... that was at 60k too...

Wonder why they never put them in the nnbs....prob cuz nobody could get them out anyway.....trans fluid is a cleaner so at least youll be clean...

Those transmission drain bolts ALWAYS strip when I've tried to use them. I just pump a quart or two out the top and drop the pan. Makes the job way less messy.

So a minor update.

Escalade roof rack is on, but the caps are out for paint still so no pictures yet.

Also, I ordered these LEDs for the back up lamps from Amazon.

Also, I ordered this Subwoofer today.

It's a KICKER 8 Iinch Dual voice coil but it's a 1 Ohm and shallow mount. I plan to wire it in series to make the 2 Ohm needed. Looks like form the reviews other people have used this to replace their blown subwoofer as well.

Thanks to @pwtr02ss for mentioning that Kicker made a drop in close enough to factory specs, and thanks to @NeverSatisfied for helping with my wiring questions.

Also, thanks to @Galante for...... well he didn't do anything so... um.... Well anyway sub should be here soon.

I may look into the rear door speakers as well. Left rear seems to be blown too
