I’m having a tough time finding a place to set the module. I’ve got a pioneer AVH-2440, and the full size dual-din takes up a lot of room. Previously I had a non-dvd unit that did not take up as much room and i was able to set it on top. Are there any hidden pockets behind the dash where someone has placed the module where the wires still reach?

I’ve tried placing behind the a/c controls and cig lighter as well, but not much luck there either.

Do you not have the flow-through console? If so, just put it under the cupholders. If not, maybe behind the glovebox?

The console does not seem to be continuous. I will check again. I recall that there seems to be a piece of plastic under the dash. I did run a usb cable under the cup holders so I’ve had that section apart. Mine is a 2014 YukonSLT-1. The Denali or higher trim levels may be different.

There's a little tab in the back that I grinded off with my dremel to get some more room behind the head unit. Gave me more of a 'slot' to jam wires, the interface unit, etc back into it.

Thanks, I’ll give that a shot. I know exactly which tab you’re talking about.

Driving around with my dash apart for 2 weeks has almost made me want to give up on this.

so I am finally back. Thanks for all of the good responses, Returned the "other guys" module, as it was somewhat defective. I ordered one from maestro idatalink. It is a much more capable product and intuitive to work well with my pioneer AVH-2440NEX. It even told me I have a check engine code going off.

Have also been able to re-wire my amp setup under the second row seat, and a good friend of mine built me a custom box to fit my 12" JBL behind the 3rd row of seats, will still leave room for a soft cooler, golf clubs, and baseball gear for my kids.

I have a set of headrest monitors coming this week, and my kids will be living in style for those family trips.
