Ok so I got my 99 Yukon about a year ago and have wanted to paint it flat black or od green since purchase. Now initially I was like hey ill just rattle can job it but Yall talked me out of it and then life happened and it got put on the back burner.....well I think I'm ready to take this on again and I've heard about plastidip. Has anyone used it how are the results longevity finnish?

My second question is when I first bought the Yukon there was a Chevy grille on it which has been replaced with an aftermarket gmc one now. Butvthe bumper as always looked wrong. To low and sticks out to far(I will post pics later today) is it possible the previous owner threw on either a wrong generation front bumper or its missing a bumper valance or something ?

And last but not least cowel hoods. Where are Yall getting em I keep seeing people saying they picked em up for around 100 bux I can't find anything less then 300.

I used Plasti-dip on the lower rocker panels on my '97 Tahoe, done a couple months ago and holding up well so far, driving on mostly pavement and gravel, no muddin'. Seems to last through car washes and weather with no problems either. Best part is that its so cheap, if it doesn't last, i'll just re-do it next spring.

The bumper, I do not know...

Cowl hoods, I was looking for a while, gave up when I found the same prices as you. I want the "442 style" cowl hood for mine. My hood has had a section of paint gone since I bought the Tahoe in April. I have been thinking of dipping the entire hood to give that a try...

I would call a local 4x4 shop and see if they have one or maybe fab one up for you if you cant do it. For paint look into the "50 dollar paint job".
