2 days ago we took delivery of a 2022 Yukon Denali Frost White Tricoat - we had a 2020 with the exact same color. Well, when putting them side by side the 2022 looks like it is a plain white no frost in the paint job at all. Both the build list and the window sticker say that we have what we ordered. How can I tell for sure?

What does the RPO sticker say for color code?
Cannot see any metal flakes - it was very clear that the 2020 had the flakes but I cannot see them in this 2022.

Have you compared it to a 2022 brochure's paint chips? Got photos of the two?
My dealer said there is no brochure for the 2022. I am beginning to think that they think I am stupid. I also was not told there was no regular nav in the 2022 and they requred me to buy a data package to be able to use the Google Map icon.

The built-in Nav in the '22s is Google Maps. You need connected services to be able to use. Most trims come with 3 years of connected services included. You do need to call Onstar to set up your 3 year 'trial'. Sometimes the dealers do this for you. My dealer didnt so i did it on the drive home. If yours isnt setup then that may be why your google maps icon is not working.
For the paint -- if your window sticker says White Frost but you think otherwise you may have to find a GMC dealer with a same model year white vehicle on the lot to compare it to.

I found a 2021 brochure, looks the same as 2020, and the codes are the same so they should be the same. Most lots are empty but you might consider cruising by a dealer and seeing if there's one with the same color as yours to compare. I would imagine that this would be an issue for GMC to resolve and not your local dealership.
