So I got a set of rims off a buddies 06 tahoe for free! Were in a little rough shape to start with. Got em all cleaned up and I think they turned out pretty badass, specially for rattle can with a few hiccups. Spent maybe 50 bucks on supplies. I prefer all Rustoleum cans.

Used some oven cleaner and a steel brush, and alot alot alot of elbow grease got em looking pretty good.

Dried em all up and put some self etch primer down

Picked up some Delta Chapparels for under 200 a tire. I finally got to be that guy I always envied when I saw em driving around with new mudders in the box! :)

After a day or so of drying I went and had tires put on and balanced with new rims.

And after a quick run through car wash

I think it changed the look of the Yukon completely. Hope you all like!? :)

Thanks! I know the tires probably aren't top quality like the Open Countries I wanted but these will do. So far they have gone through some deep snow, both hard packed ice topped snow and soft wet snow. Now just waiting for spring and summer to test mud :)

Also rotating them every other oil change. so roughly 6-7000 miles to help

Looks awesome man. I actually picked up the same wheels and I'm in the process of getting some tires mounted on them for my 94 2 door. I'm gonna go with 285's again, maybe all terrains and Im going to hit them with plastidip instead paint.
