ok guys i wanna know how hard it is to put some chrome valve covers on a hoe stock 5.7 got some and wanna make that engine shine if anyone knows any tricks or dos or donts thanks

Finding them is the hardest part. If you just want to do your existing ones any local plating shop can help you with the details.

i found some at a local racing shop but if its to difficult to do ill leave it alone

They are the correct center bolt covers with baffles?? Racing stuff is usually not center bolt or baffled.

if your somewhat mechanically capable, its easy, use good rubber valvecover gaskets.

lmc truck has the chrome ones, i wanna get mine done in the crinkle finish with gmc on them but nobody makes anything like that that i know of so it will never happen haha

not too difficult. just make sure, make SURE it's the same part. I found out the hard way (after measuring twice) that the chrome valve cover didn't fit on mine, although it came off another 350. The holes did line up, but the vertical bars inside the covers did not.

you will have to remove the alternator and ac bracket to take off the covers...
