Approx 3k miles ago I noticed a faint grinding sound coming from my left rear. I didnt think much at the time of it because it sounded like a wheel bearing and I was hit by another car just prior to that and thought the bearing had finally went from that. Wrong. Finally took the time to investigate and found my parking brake cable was using my brand new 2015 denali wheels as a grinding stone! Right before I noticed the noise the shop had replaced the rear springs for me and my assumption is they tried dropping the rear diff to get them out and stretched and bent the cable funny. Should I go after them to replace my now ground off wheel and parking brake? Opinions?
