so i have a 1999 chevy suburban that i took out the 5.7l an i put in a 6.0l out of a 2005 chevy pickup i have all the wiring done an hooked up the truck will turn over but will not start so i got out a test light an found that the pcm is hot when i touch the outside of it so dose anyone know what would cause that and do you think its my problem on why it wont start

might be best to tune the 99 pcm to run the 05 6.0. if theres a pcm part number change it might need to be fully repinned at the pcm plugs to work right.

that newer pcm might not jive with the tranny as well. you likely have a 4l60e and pick up trucks came with a 4l80e.
