I'm guessing the 07-14 doesn't have as much of a problem with pedal lag or the computer controlling what it thinks the throttle should be as the newer vehicles do.

I do know that between my 2001 and 2012 I can tell the difference in pedal feel. The 2001 has a cable and it feels lighter and a bit more touchy than the 2012, but the 2012 still goes wot when you floor it and doesn't take 1.5 seconds to do it.

Yes, the mechanical cable doesn’t have the same lag.

I bought the Banks Pedal Monster. Almost went with the Pedal Commander then saw several reviews about it failing and going dead until turning the Tahoe off and decided against it. The pedal monster has more features including controlling it live via Bluetooth without needing to power off. And more importantly if anything happens it fails safe, meaning it defaults to standard/off mode instead of giving a dead pedal. Couldn’t be happier with it.

Is that tied into the obd port full time?
