Cam, LTs and blower definitely made up for the lack in performance increase of the exhaust ;-)

I guess all I am saying, is I wouldn't drop a ton of coin on an exhaust swap just for performance gains. It would be more of a benefit appearance and acoustic wise.

Honestly, that year sees good performance gains just from a Y pipe swap. That is where the issue is on those exhausts.

definatly. the bends and merge are complete kaka.

I just prefer to do it all at once, header to tips. 3" stainless. buy once, cry once. ya know :)

Agreed. But if you are saving pennies, that would be where I would avoid the costs.

With my swapped in LQ9, I had to re-use the 5.3 factory y-pipe & exhaust. So...I know that my whole exhaust system is currently the weak point. I am going with just the muffler for now. Longer term, I'm looking for a used 6.0 two piece y-pipe and factory Denali or Escalade mufflers & pipe.

The Jones MF2590 was $63 shipped from Amazon and one of the better local shops quoted me $60 to weld it in. This will do until I find a reasonably priced 6.0 two piece y-pipe.

My goal for this build is to have a sleeper...a Dr. Jeckyl & Mr. Hyde. If I want to take guests to dinner in it, they would never know of the performance...until that squirt in the Range Rover thinks he can pass. This is also low budget build (for a change).

Those are stunningly beautiful. I'd have to carry a creeper around just to show people those pipes.

It's a "header" back kit. So be prepared! Lol! Less than 800 gets you a full on stainless header to tip kit!

I can't wait! Going to sell my current speed eng 1 3/4" stainless headers for their 1 7/8" and the exhaust kit.

Oooo yeaaaaa!
