nah, it'll be tucked under there enough that you wont even know whether its welded or not. You know me, i wont take this truck to a shop unless its mandatory. Pete's Garage only :)

I got one of those cheap welders from HF and it works wonders for small stuff like that. All you really have to do is tack it several places and then clean up the welds. Looks way better than a clamp

i hear ya. it's so minimal though. i mean, the clamp/screw it at the top of it and cant even be seen. and yeah, i had one of those Harbor Freight welders. It worked ok. The wire feed motor broke on me. I could never dial it in smooth. Gave it to my buddy. I would love to get a decent Millermatic

Damn this pic looks so amazing. I had to send it too my buddy to show him. He has an 02 burb but won’t do anything to it or join the forum, becuz its “technically” his girlfriends truck lol. But I always send him badass shit I see on here.
