Needs spinners!****** pic, but I had to share. Man, this poor thing has been accessorized just a little much.
What's happening to you @Fosscore ? You going native? You're speaking in the metric system lol!Road train. Up to 3 trailers long and 54 meters long.
Seeing that come at you rolling 110km/hr on a tight road and sounds like a freight train makes you grip the wheel with both hands.
This one is only 2 long but was full of rusted out cars. Have passed many 3 long.
Right out of Mad Max and Midnight Oil’s Beds are Burning lyrics - “Holden wrecks and boiling diesels” and “the desert lives and breathes in 45 degrees”

You mean 3 days?! LolI'd like to go there some day...... But it takes 3 weeks to fly there
( Empty space )
Physically it’s not three days.... lol. It’s only about 15 hours in the air actual flying time from the states. At least from LAX.... lol. I’ve done and it’s not bad at all! But I also LOVE to fly because I’m a total aviation geek.....Unless I stay there for 4 months, I don't see myself spending that amount of time in the air...
Unless in 1st Class.... maybe
Didn’t know that! Lol

I've always wanted to visit Australia. One day. We need more pics!FLL to DFW is 2 1/2 hours
DFW to SYD is 17 hours
We left DFW on a Monday night at 2300 and landed on Wednesday at 0630.
Tuesday is twilight zone over the Pacific. Lots of movies and a bit of sleep.
When I come home I leave SYD and arrive DFW on the same day at the same time.
Currently +14 hours ahead of EST.
The airbus A380 is a sweet ride.
Yes middle of Outback for last 10 days.
Breaking up a 1350km run south towards Adelaide and down to the Great Ocean Road. Caravan park along the way.
Today on the road. Passed about a dozen triple (54 meters long)road trains and quite a few doubles.
Have to work in metric or you are lost. At least the $ is .69 so everything is a bargain. Especially diesel at $1.69 - $2.11 per litre . Saw it as high as $2.30.

Usually only the road trains travel at night in the Outback as the Roos are nocturnal.
They sound pretty awesome rushing by at night and look badass with all the amber lights down the cab and trailers. Certain areas are worse and there is road kill all over the place.
What happens when you hit a roo
Then it gets stripped and left to rust.
