66. Only year for the lip on the hood.Saw this fabulous 1967 El Camino at Home Depot yesterday
About 20 years ago I helped a friend do a total restoration to a 1968 El Camino SS 396. Put in a Currie 9" rear end, an Art Carr transmission, rebuilt the ( numbers matching) 396. Easy to get body-trim parts, since we were in South Calif.... Original color repaint " Matador Red".... We went to a swap meet... and bought a NEW - still in original GM box, front grill !! ( Back then, it cost $15,000 for the project. )66. Only year for the lip on the hood.
Had one for my first car. Maroon red. Well it had been, but faded in spots.
