lifters

need some advice, should I be replacing the lifters at the same time i got everything else pulled off so i'm looking at the comp cam lifters and ls7 lifters. I'm guessing the ls7 would be sufficient for most anything i'm going to be doing.

I'm going for a custom grind, I'm going to talk to the guy today. Probably something along the lines of 220/224 or 212/218, not sure on the lift yet. I think I'm going to run pac 1218's so probably get somewhat close to .600" lift

I do have plans for a TVS1900 in the future so I should probably stick close to 115, thanks for the advice

pushrod length

Ok so I am going to change out the lifter trays and lifters to the ls7 style because I hear they are more durable. I heard that it's necessary to go with a 7.35 pushrod to acommidate the ls7 trays/lifters to make the preload the same s the ls1... does that makes sense?

I was told the cam i'm running would be ok with stock length rods

edit: i'm sure the obvious answer is get a push rod length checker *sigh

i think i got it figured out, according to my cast numbers I have ls2 lifter trays already part#12595365
