Picked up Sable Metallic LT

Hey all,

Just picked up our new Sable Metallic Tahoe LT yesterday, absolutely love the color. Hard to capture in a photo at least in direct sunlight this morning but will try again later on.

Was on the fence about the color originally since in some lights it looks really purple but in the first 20 miles of driving it I've already gotten three compliments.

Any one else on here have a sable metallic or midnight amethyst? Curious to see your setup - I'm debating wheel options and whether or not I should color match the grill, or go the other way and add the LTZ grill for some more chrome.

Nice looking Tahoe! I say go for one of the accessory grilles from GM. They have the chrome mesh and the Z71 grille both available now. Either will look OEM and also unique from everyone else.

Wound up ordering a set of replica 22's in silver, the current plan is color matched, we'll see how well that goes!

I have 9200 miles on it now and absolutely love it.

That it is chrome. I never liked the matching color stripe the previous generation had. I love the classic 90s era c/k looking front with the chrome stripe and black grill.

I added the LTZ grille to the wife's. But I still have the other for a possible colormatchimg project in the future. But the black honey comb would have to go.
