Yes. It's crazy but true. I looked it up when I lived in CO vs LA to see difference in tint laws.

I can vouch for this. MI is a terrible state to have tinted windows. Now that I'm down in OH it isn't so bad.

The tails look sick. Im sold on them. I need to find a place that does ceramic tint. I feel like I am getting jerked around for $300-$400 and my only options are 5%, 20% or 35%. I want in between 5% and 20%. Just a hair darker then 20% will be perfect.

How do I know the tint is ceramic?

Different places will have different %'s. You'll know by the price just ask the guy working at the tint place. Almost double then normal tint. Pros are: Car stays cooler. Looks lighter from the inside and darker on the outside.

lol pushy pushy. I am contemplating going back to my usual place who has done 4 of my cars. Last time it took him 4 times to fix one window though and he wants $279 for the whole truck. It's 3M tint. What do you think? I am leery of going to another place and not being satisfied, at least I know what I'm getting here.

He can get me in Weds...by the way...cause I know you're gonna ask :lol2:

like my new sig? :naughty::naughty:

279 sounds about right. It's usually around $40 per window but it might be difference depending on where you live. Ceramic would cost way more then that. I only matched my 2 front windows ceramic and it was 140 iirc. and yea nice sig!

I figured it was gonna end up being $40 per window. Im trying to hold off till next paycheck, but pulling up next to people and them actually seeing me has got to be the weirdest thing haha I've never had a vehicle lighter than 20% so it feels funny. Yeah thats enough for me to spend on tint, I understand ceramic is probably great, but 279 will allow me to do other stuff too.

Picking up Weathertechs for the front (95% of the time just me and the lady) from my buddy for $75 and probably doing tint in the next week. I'd like to do the tails and SLP tips after that.

Got a quote for $600 for headlights, so thats gonna happen in spring, and i found k375 reps for $950 new so, moving in the right direction. And Felix is spending all my money....haha

I haven't even had my truck long enough to take a decent picture lol so it'll do for now.

Washed her to see how well she beads...She's got some swirls but I'm waiting till spring for a detail, no sense in doing it now and covering it in salt. Anyways I touched up the pics so here they are!

Looks great. Love the color. You will enjoy it!

$600 for the headlights seems like a great deal. I just finished my retro last week, putting them in tomorrow. I went with the Eagle eyes like Felix suggested and I am in for a little over $400 with all the parts. They were a pain to do so the extra $200 would be worth it imo.

For the tint I did 20% all throughout. My old Tahoe had 5% on the back and was too hard to see out of at night. I've never had any issues for it over the last 16 years but my wife got pulled over by highway patrol in our Jeep last month for 20% on the fronts. Had to remove it and will go 35% on the next round since she is nervous about it now.

Go with who you trust. I've seen too many bad tint jobs with bubbles or fading.

I looked up those Esky premium tails and I think I'm sold on those as well. They look great with the black and the color isn't far off from the stock Denail's.

Did you de-badge the tailgate or was it already done?
