All of these still suck. Pioneer is about to rleease a firmware update to include Apple CarPlay on there NEX series screens. I'd wait for that.

The NEX series are already out. It's their navigation screens. Once CarPlay was announced by Apple, Pioneer made an announcement that all their NEX nav units were going to get a firmware update that will have all CarPlay features.

I had an appradio 3 in my tahoe.. if you dont really care about nav then its alright. i was streaming movies via my iphone, and the adapter.. NFL mobile worked well on it too.

The actual appradio on the phone, and its apps are kinda crappy.. unless you like Waze for your nav. I didn't.

Sold that thing for 250 on ebay, and got me a NEX-8000.

Yeah I was disappointed with the features and waiting for the CarPlay update to get my next headunit.
