The weather forecast for the weekend was enough to get me moving today, it’s going to be damn hot.

Got all of the doors and roof rack done today. I found a video on YouTube showing how to remove the rear caps so you can access to sliding rails so I went ahead and removed those. So far I really like it without the rails.

The wrap is looking good. I’ve got two pieces I’ll Redo later down the road but for now it turned out really good. Thinking I’ll try doing the running boards in the satin black I have if it matches well.

I’m hoping I’ll be able to do the sound deadening on atleast the cargo area and also remove and paint the fender vents this weekend. From what I’ve read removing the vents sucks to do.

Dickies arena. It’s a couple blocks from my house. Their headquarters are in Fort Worth.

Wheels will always be chrome. I’d like to do the handles, fender vents, and some pieces of the grill. If I do all of that I’ll likely remove the wrap on the rack.

Sound deadener is in the cargo area. I Probly won’t do anymore of that, just isn’t worth the hassle at this point. It might’ve helped with some of the deep tones but not a ton else.

Having a hell of a time with the interior wrap. I can do the easy pieces but the middle cup holders and radio bezel is out of my league. Went to a local shop and they wouldn’t touch it because of the ridges in the factory wrap saying it won’t stick over time even though I’ve got other pieces done and it works just fine. They said to paint it and I might end up doing that.

Lookin sharp . Sucks the wrap was too small. Hate being motivated then hitting a brick wall because of wrong material or parts. Any plans for the exhaust tips tho?

Been MIA. Sorry about that.

Ditched the dynomax muffler for a stocker. The drone was just too much around 70-80mph after the muffler had 30k on it. I definitely picked up some low end grunt through with the stock muffler back on. The catless 1 7/8” headers and 3.5” factory tubing was just too free flowing for any low end torque.

Not the first time I’ve experienced this with muffler swaps.

Going to hold off on any other mods for awhile like exhaust tips. I’ve got a electric mountain bike/dirt bike on the way that currently has all my attention and $$.

I think that's why everyone goes to the smaller tubed header--low end grunt. Seems alot of times 1 7/8 is too big for the stop light to stop light everyday use.

IIRC, the 1 7/8 is supposed to be for forced induction, while the 1 3/4 is for n/a..?
