Plasti-dip coverage

So I bought some plasti-dip and I am going to buy some plasti-dip clear gloss as well but am not sure of how much to buy. I know I need to put 6-8 coats on of each right? Do you think 3 of each would be enough? Heres my rims

I dunno, just figured it was cheap to try. It just peels off it i dont like it right?

Peels off like a sheet of saran wrap. 4 or 5 should do fine. Gonna say 3 would be more then enough. Did 4 or 5 coats on my buddies 20s.

Do really light coats. 5 should cover it good enough. 8 will be a bit over kill....its not paint. If you dont like the outcome, can peel it off and start over.

Also, it looks nothing like paint, so dont expect it to match your tahoes OEM finish.

Yeah i dont expect it to be perfect but thanks for the info. If its that easy to peel off, then hell yeah, cant beat $30 to try somethin else :thumbup:

My brother in law did his 22s with 4 coats. Only used 2 bottles. He spent like 12 bucks and they look like just as good as my powder coated wheels which cost me 80 bucks each wheel to powder coat. Faawwkkk

I say do it to it. i did it on my old truck and loved it. It will look sweet on your truck.
