Yup there are definitely things out there for cleaning it, but that's my point with the "high maintenance". You have to have your own pressure washer / compressor system and then buy the cleaning solution each time. Plus that truck wasn't even dirty before, I'd like to see how it performs on real dirt.....not saying it can't be done but like I said it's high maintenance

Yea man just do it yourself it's easy and the kit isn't expensive u will save like 2,000 if u so it yourselfe. There is vids on YouTube showing you how to do it. Look up dipyourcar.com and you will c it's better than if a shop does it.

save yourselves time on research and labor and don't use plasti dip. I wish I could express how I feel about that stuff but my language would probably get me banned.

plasti-dip is :gayflag::gayflag::gayflag::gayflag:

I don't think I'd go as far to say that plastidip is inherently bad. But when you try to use a product for something it wasn't intended for you'll always have challenges...

@baggedlvintegra- thx. I've noticed it's been fine washing as is, just thought I'd check.

I side with you only with regard to the ricer community using it as an easy / cheap tool to further enhance the gayness of their mods. The things I see go on on the DYCForum make me want to vomit and I have to hold my tongue not to bash every other post I see.

However, the enhancements Fonzie at DYC has made with Dip are a complete game changer for the modded community. When done right, Dip can be a cheap and easy medium for completely changing the look of a vehicle, plus it is completely reversible. It is a bit absurd that I've seen Ferraris, Maseraits, Porsches, Mercedes etc dipped but all were done professionally and look great IMHO. Just like any other mod, it requires class and taste to look right and must fit the vehicle.
