Btw, did you's do it on the truck or take them off and should i take the center caps off and do it separately and the back of the rims, you do that too?

Took off the caps. Covered the brakes with some plastic and left them on my Yukon. I did as far back on the rims as I could reach.

I also did the chrome trim on my driver and passenger panels. That was a bit tricky. But looks good to me
