lol, I have a feeling he will in central cali pretty soon.

QUESTIONS: Does BB have tranny perameters like the edge tuner? Have there been any issues with other perameters on the motor that would cause me to worry about having too much of a stout tune?

He will be in Fresno on Jan 25th and might have some time available to squeeze some tunes in. Email him if anyone is interested [email protected]

What do you mean by tranny parameters? Justin has access to all engine and transmission parameters through EFILive.

Well, I know that Edge tuner has "safety" perameters of some type built into the tune to make sure all is running safe. It was just kind of a thought that ran threw my head.

Been emailing Justin... I think Im going to have to lock down a slot to get a tune! If Im going to do it, might as well do it right! You know whats messed up... Mmy wife is going to have a custom tune in her Yukon, and I dont even have canned tune in my truck... WTF!!!!

Dont we need to gather information before the tune?

If not than i would like to try to squeeze in on the 25th, but i have a hectic work schedule that limits my time off on the weekends.
Whether it's this month or the next, i am going to go with a bb tune.

Does anyone know, if you have a cai, tbs, and exhaust - will that affect a standard bb tune???

Justin is the safety parameter. He isn't putting a canned tune on your truck, everything will be monitored as he drives around with you.

The SoCal meet is separate from the travel Justin is doing in Fresno. He will squeeze a few people in while he is visiting family in Fresno on a case by case basis. If anyone is interested in meeting up in the 25th of Jan in Fresno, they will need to email [email protected] to see what times he has available. We will not be posting time slots or locations.

Realistically, the SoCal meet probably won't happen until the end of March, he is fully booked until then. We can't make any promises at this point, especially without 10+ interested.

Black Bear gets tons of requests from the So Cal area...I already made 4 threads on different forums to kick this thing off.. Heres the link to the thread on this site with the list of members wanting the tune here so far

TYF - So-Cal BlackBear Tune!

And here are the other sites I've put the thread on..

GMFullSize - So-Cal BlackBear Tune

FullSizeChevy - So-Cal BlackBear Tune

PerformanceTrucks.net - So-Cal BlackBear Tune

Whoever wants to be the organizer of this meet will need to post up on a few more threads that Black Bear is a vendor on. This will ensure that you get enough members to make this meet a go! :)

With Justin being the perameter, thats kind of how I imagined it, so thats perfect.

I Just wrote Justin, and he seems willing to throw a few tunes in while he is in So Cal, so thats cool of him. I think I might one of the lucky ones to actually get one! He does seem very busy, and has answered and accomodated me accordingly, which has been awsome. I will already recommend BB, just on the bases of being personal with the customer, and willing to accomodate as well. Thanks a bunch, and I cant wait!
