I have a 1998 Tahoe. I have the rear end clunk when rolling forward from a stop and it feels like my rear end is bound up until it clunks. I have replaced the slip yoke, regeared it 4.88, replaced the right rear axle, checked the rear brakes, and clamped the leaf springs. What in the world could this issue be? It's getting worse, and I don't know what else to do. Thank you for your help in advance.

Put some axle grease on the splines of the driveshaft that goes into the tranny, worked for me

So it feels kinda stuck until you tap the gas it makes a clunk and starts moving? You mentioned you checked the brakes are you sure you dont have the pads on backwards? Not sure about the brake setup in the back of these yet but i know the pickups and the 94 suburban i used to have would do that if the rear pads were backwards.
