I was going to change my stock plugs to some NGK tr5s. I cannot get the wires off for the life of me. I wasnt planning on replacing the wires. How can I get them off without damage?

good choice of plug for sure, you should just invest in a set of MSD 8.5 wires though... just an opinion..

as for how to get them off... its a pain in the ass because of those heat shields that are on there... just grab hold of the boot real good and tug away! Your gonna hurt your hand a time or two

good catch Blue!!

DO NOT GET THE TR5's as they are gapped to .060

the TR55 is the same plug, gapped to .040 (correct gap for our trucks)

Also... it is always good practice to confirm the gap of the plugs you buy even if they are "pre" gapped
