What are the odds that you have access to the 2006 gm upfitter brochure?
Trying to figure out which are the stiffest front torsion bars my Tahoe can reasonably use ...

Greetings folks. I was reading the gm upfitter brochure for 2014 and in the description for traction control it indicated that it was "deactivated during police performance mode"

What the heck is police performance mode? Since I've been driving the car for two years and have never seen this on the display I can only assume it means to turn off traction control.
There is no police performance mode, nothing that you would ever see anyway, the best it gets is the transmission would be programmed to maintain a lower gear while driving aggressively instead of up shifting allowing the vehicle to perform better block to block. You will never see anything in the cluster indicating it. Just a marketing thing. You might not ever notice any difference depending on how you drive. Turning off traction control can help in certain situations and having it on could help prevent a wipeout as well.. if you want to have fun drive around town in 3rd gear
