Police radar detector

I don't really speed much, but I like to know where the cops are hiding. I'd kick myself for getting a ticket because of a nonsensical change in speed. Basically, I use the V1 for awareness.

In southeast Virginia, make that <9mph. 20+ or/and 81mph out here is automatic reckless and impound.

Also, I don't use a detector. I get this ”feeling” a cop is nearby and I slow down. I usually stumble upon them within a mile later.

Virginia law also references detectors being easily accessible. If you have to take 10 minutes to get it unhooked and out of the car then you can pretty much count on a case dismissed if you challenge it. I know people who have successfully done it.

75-80 mph out here or you would get run off the road.
