Polished Rims - Clear Coat

It turns out most of the rims I like are polished...and they're not clear coated so they will turn to $hit pretty quickly.

How has everyone's experience been with having your rims professionally clear coated? One of the company's I was going to buy from said they could clear coat 17" for $75/ea.

Anyone have experience with this??

no experience but perhaps you could try this and save some money.

looks like a great option...any idea how well it works? vs clear coat?

I have no clue but some here from Canada pay good money to use some of there other products for rust protection. I would like to try the stuff myself one day.
