Use an OEM pump only.

I think he mentioned it was going in to the dealer on Tuesday, so he better get an OE part...

Just got the diagnosis, needs a fuel pump and module...$1,810. Hopefully CarShield foots the bill!!

Seems kind of unusual that it needs both a fuel pump and a drive module, but...

On RockAuto that represents about $300 in parts and should be a couple of hours labor. $1810 seems over the moon to me, but if your extended warranty covers it, I guess it doesn't matter.
