Where did you get the front coilovers from? I've thought about doing the same thing to help my 12 yr old torsion bars, but haven't been able to find any info anywhere, other than doing a full coilover conversion, removing the t-bars altogether.
There's a guy on this board who sells the coilover kit. He also sells reinforcing pieces for the upper shock mounts since they are now carrying all the weight that was previously carried by the T-bars.
He posts under the name Atomic and he has a big thread in the "Street Suspension" section of this board:

It's pretty slick. I've been going back and forth on lifts and there's part of me that just wants to ditch the T-bars entirely and go with coilovers.
Then again there's another part of me that's cheap, and that's a BIG part of me.
I also have to consider that my '04 'Burb is a bit rusty and that honestly I probably will only have it for maybe 3 years so I don't need to be sinking a ton of money into it.
But I like the
idea of coilovers to replace the T-bars. If I had a really cherry Tahoe or 'Burb with low miles that I was planning on turning into an off-road beast or keeping for 10 years, I would probably invest in coilovers.
