I have had my 07 Yukon for about 7 months. Absolutely love it. Over the past couple months I noticed the side moldings were starting to oxidize. The rest of the body paint was perfect but the side molding started turning FAST! Then we had a couple random hot days where I live. I got into my car and noticed the plastic on the center console was bubbling, then it peeled off (about 2 inches of it). THEN I started hearing a metal rattle on my wheels that would come and go. I honestly thought I was going to be screwed by the dealership repair even though I was still under my 1 year certified warranty.

Long story short, took the car into the dealership a couple days ago and at first the guy said the molding might not be covered but after he checked to make sure, everything was covered, repaired and returned to me BRAND NEW!!

I know some people have had some bad situations with STEALerships but I have to say my local DEALership took care of me!

They arent all bad out there i guess :)

p.s. the dealership said they were seeing more and more cases of side molding problems with the side moldings oxidizing. If this is true then I guess I will have to deal with this again down the road

Glad they took care of you, but its a shame the NNBS have so many problems.

My side moldings don't exactly match the truck like it happens on most cars but it is not oxidizing in any way, YET.
If it does, I will just debadge them and call it a day.
