Has anyone powdercoated the 17" that were on the 07-2013 model year? I want them gloss black, and they want $100 a piece. Thoughts?

That's about the going price, but any rim that is black will look smaller than it really is. So that 17" will look like a 15"

What about Plastidip??? They have a gloss spray also for the black... Its like $10 and you only need 3 for all the rims...

Yeah I don't think I would spend $400 on a $200 set of wheels. Plasti dip is the way to go. Get the look you want for about 1/8 the cost. You may have to re do it about once a year but hey, at least you can peel it off if you Change your mind.

Btw, I have seen them black before and I personally thought it looked good.

Thanks for the input! I'd rather not do the plastidip. I've seen where it peels and chips if a rock hits it, or you brush against a branch or anything haha. I really like the black chrome wheels off the new sierras. $1500 for a set with new tires?

We powdercoated the Weld wheels that are on the Silverado, we paid about the same price.
