Hi all. I am new to the forum, searched for this issue, but didn't see the exact problem. Thought I would try here.

I have a 2007 Denali. Drivers Side power seat seems stuck on one side when moving forward and back. The right side of the seat moves and the left doesn't so it binds the seat in place. I spoke to the dealer and they told me I have to replace the full power seat component and it wasn't worth it, at about $1800.00

it is currently bound in the far back position. I have 6 foot tall 13 year old twin girls and one of them is a bit cramped. I would like to get this fixed before our long summer drive.

Any suggestions?

here is a schematic that i posted a few days ago for another seat issue. it sounds like the actual motor assembly may be the issue, but maybe the wiring diagram can help you out.
