2015 Tahoe LTZ - about 63500 miles. Original owner.

Over the last couple of days, I've had the following occur. Pulled into driveway while steering wheel is turned and the entire display shut off. Acted as though I had pressed the button to kill the engine(but I hadn't). The display showed "Service Trailer Brake".

Was on the road last night and did a U-Turn and found that the wheel was very had to turn during the course of the turn. About 2 mins later, I was on a busy street and was quickly turning into a driveway and basically stalled during my turn into the driveway. The display again went dark but then came right back on and the "Service Stabiltrak" came up. I've noticed that the radio display has been flickering as well as seeing multiple instances of "Parking Assist Off" coming up on the display and then clearing on it's own.

I know that my car has had the Power Steering recall performed in the past (probably around 2018) where they just did a re-program of the Electric Power Steering module.

I've seen multiple theories about what to try next. Do I look at the vehicle ground, or could it possibly be something wrong with the power steering assist motor that is failing?

I am going to head down to an auto parts store and see if any codes have been thrown later this afternoon.

Thanks in advance for any ideas to try.

Check those side detection sensor connectors for corrosion. They appear to be notorious for causing random issues. While you’re doing that make sure they are clean, the seals are clean, and I’d add some dielectric grease to that connector.
