power steering?

it looked like a good day to do donuts (snowing) today but it was a bad idea. i had 4x4 auto on and started havin fun with the truck but rite after the tahoe didnt want to turn in any direction nor right or left. it was really hard to steer the truck home.no fluid leaks or nothing. it still had the fluid also. so did my power steering pump go out? save me the lecure time i just need some help plz.

to update this thread it was my power steering pump that went out. was a pain in the ass cuz of the cold. but not to hard to change out.

**** that no more donuts for me its was close to 0 degrees that day we had to change it. just remember after u can change the pump and move your truck alil bit to get the fluid moving i thought a was screwed for a min.

Bought my Yuk used .......it's hard only to steer to the right & only at low RPM's . steering to the left is no problem at any speed . Also when I turn to the right , I hear an air leak sound . Is this still the steering pump ? :hmmm2:
